Pete Tong & Booka Shade To Release All Gone Ibiza 2012

All Gone Ibiza 2012 Mixed By Pete Tong & Booka Shade Defected Released 11 June

Carrying on from the success of their last release from Artifact, Deadplate Records present Hackman & Bluto’s ‘What Matters’.

Pete Tong‘s first Ibiza compilation for 2012 sees him enlist Booka Shade for ‘all gone Ibiza ‘2012’, released 11th June on Defected. The premier guide to the summer soundtrack for Ibiza and beyond, this album features two exclusive productions from Booka Shade, plus upfront tracks and mixes from Hot Chip, Scuba, Little Dragon, Nina Kraviz, Tensnake, Matador, Eats Everything, Joe Goddard, Blondish and many more.

Pete Tong’s return to Pacha with ‘all gone’ was the biggest story of Ibiza 2011, and 2012 looks set to raise the bar yet further; with a line-up that balances global superstars with the pride of the underground, from Calvin Harris to Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Maya Jane Coles and many more. Moving beyond the White Island, Pete has taken the ‘all gone’ concept across the world, from a sold-out UK tour, to an exclusive show in Moscow, and then on to his legendary pool party in Miami. May 19th will see ‘all gone’s’ first visit to Holland for the Pacha Festival, where Pete will be joined by Carl Craig presents 69 Live, Dennis Ferrer, Stacey Pullen, Matthias Tanzmann, 2000AndOne and Taras van De Voorde. Released in March, his ‘all gone Miami ‘12’ compilation with Groove Armada was one of the series’ highlights to date.

Booka Shade aka Arno & Walter, have been responsible for some of electronic music’s recent classics, including ‘Mandarine Girl’, ‘In White Rooms’ and ‘Una Musica Senza Ritmo’ as Degeneration. Their hugely successful live show (voted one of the top 5 live acts in the world by Resident Advisor) and relentless touring schedule has ensured they’ve been a mainstay of the genre for two decades, along the way they’ve picked up remix duties for artists including Depeche Mode, Moby, Hot Chip, Roxy Music and Kings of Leon. In 2002, alongside DJ T & M.A.N.D.Y. they co-founded one of Berlin’s most important and respected dance music imprints Get Physical.

Fresh from supporting Leftfield at Brixton Academy in aid of War Child, Booka Shade’s festival schedule includes Sonar, Lovebox, Great Escape, Forbidden Fruit, Sumol Summer Fest, Touch The Air Festival, Ardentes Festival and beyond. Arno & Walter state their mix “represents what Ibiza means to us”. Dubbing Ibiza a DJ’s island, they and Tong effortlessly weave a mix that touches the many genres and BPMs that make up the musical tapestry of the island.
